* Life's Lighthouse pic....
Found the lighthouse pic that I love so much. This is what makes me want to be at Beacon Light or any lighthouse during a hurricane..
Look at this picture and imagine what it must be like to be the person standing there in that lighthouse doorway with the forces of Nature surrounding him...
What is written in that lower corner is:
Lighthouse
French Coast
Near Britany a solitary, sanguine lighthouse keeper ventures outside
during a storm for a closer look at the 36 foot waves pounding his small redoubt.
As simple as it sounds, every time I look at this picture, my only thought is:"Wow..."

The cats and I are back at Bailey's Cove today. I'm taking my meds like a good girl. They are 'horse pills' though. Luckily they are just at the maximum size that I can swallow because they're caplets - big caplets, but manageable.
The Pharmacist called them the new 'super pills' (whatever that means - kind of means 'smart pill' from what he explained to me. Said that you take 2 together in a blisterpack once a day and they know to release a little med all day - like the old time release capsules?)
Actually it's my doctor that's smart prescribing this type as he knows that I may take one in the morning and then never take the 2nd later in the evening. This way he's assured that I've taken the whole dose.
Since the medicine (or the bug) is making me feel a little light-headed, I may forego looking for a rowboat this weekend. Don't need to be dizzy on the water.
I think the cats, Toby, and I will just take it easy today, lay about reading and drinking hot tea (it's so soothing on my throat - yes, it's gone from hot to hurt in 24 hrs). It's chilly out here on the screen porch so we're bundled up in the hammock. Toby lays under it and Teela, Molly, and Thibs lay on top of me and the quilts. Cramped, but cozy...
Haven't yet bought any beds and it may get too cool out here during the night to sleep on the porch. Brought DH's down sleeping bag just in case. Doesn't take much - as long as I can stay warm, have hot tea or coffee and a good book...
Cats are happy as long as there's food and a warm blanket (or body). And Toby, he's just happy to be alive (again)!
Hopefully we will be a little more 'active' tomorrow... but then again, maybe not.
Hope you're having a good weekend!
