* a quiet Sunday...

Well, we didn't fish this morning... rather we slept in.  This "bug" or this "Super Meds" is getting to me.  Throat is back to being hot, stopped hurting. But head and neck are achey
and meds make my stomach hurt... not terrible, just some.  I don't want to take them this morning, but will.  Tomorrow I'll ask the doctor what he thinks (even though I already know - TAKE THEM).

DH came out this morning and cooked a big breakfast of eggs, bacon, and biscuits - which smelled wonderful - and even though I didn't feel like eating, I did eat a little (They tell you to be sure and take these meds with food).

Molly wants to go outside so bad (I don't let Molly or Teela out unless I'm with them - they are not street smart - like Rose).  Perhaps I will go out with her a little later today. I could use a walk on the beach to clear my head.

Had a strange dream last night.  Part of it was the old classic type where you are at school (mine are usually at LSU), and think you've missed going to a class on your schedule all year...

I had just walked up to stand in a line to get a schedule in the Registrar's office so I could check my schedule when this woman moved from her line to in front of me as the Registrar worker walked up. (You know how sometimes there are 2 lines and one worker alternates... well, this wasn't like that.  It was 2 lines and 2 workers.

Anyway, I don't ever say anything when people do this.  I always felt that you should choose your battles... and this type of thing wasn't important enough.

Well in this dream, I made a comment, something like; "You really need to pick a line and stay with it"... or something like that.  Well, she went ballistic...  and that's all I remember.

Guess my unconscious wants to have it's say.

OK, Molly, Toby, and I did walk on the beach later in the sunshine.  It was really a beautiful day.  We sat after a bit and while Toby ran around chasing gulls, Molly rolled in the sand on her back.  Later, she too joined Toby in chasing the little sandpipers who run in and out of the water feeding on something or other...

Teela is pissed (sorry, bad expression) because she wasn't around when we went out.  She has a habit of finding a place to sleep where nobody can find her and just 'turns up' later.  When we got back, she was standing at the door giving us her mad face. Toby was barking and Molly, who is very vocal, and didn't help.

(Toby) "Hey there Teela, ol' girl!  You missed all the fun.
(Teela) "I want to go out NOW!"
(Molly) "Too late...  But Mom, Toby, and I sure had a good time. We chased those birds with the funny legs all over the beach!"
(Toby) "Would have caught one too.. but didn't think Mom would like it."
(Teela)  "Not fair!  Not fair!  Not fair!"
(Molly) "Aw..ww, poor Teela..."

I imagine she will vent her anger later... probably by leaving me an unwanted gift somewhere.  She tends to do this on occasion when she's really mad... or when I go to pet her, she'll snap at me (used to call her my 'snappin turtle cat')

Thibby, on the other hand, watches the rest of us with a quiet distant look from his place on the window.  He will come sit in my lap later when things are quiet.  Rose doesn't say much. She gets to go in and out as much as she wants, so...

Well, have to get back to the Real World in the morning. DH left right after breakfast as there's "football" on TV today (no TV at the Cove). I may spend one more night here.  I do love it.  The wind is picking up, so there may be a storm coming in.  Would like to be here on the Ocean's edge and watch a storm come in.

Until later...
